Robert Loughran is a dedicated and skilled attorney with a passion for helping businesses navigate complex legal challenges. He earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law, where he honed his legal expertise as the Note and Comment Editor for The Journal of Property Law. Licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Texas, Robert brings a strong foundation of knowledge and experience to his role at Akerly Law.

Robert’s practice is focused on providing strategic legal solutions to businesses. With a deep understanding of litigation, he assists clients in resolving bankruptcy and business disputes efficiently and effectively. Additionally, he offers guidance on business formation, transactions, and compliance, ensuring his clients are well-positioned for growth and success.

Before embarking on his legal career, Robert graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in History. He then dedicated several years to public education, earning a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy. This unique background has shaped his ability to communicate clearly, think critically, and approach challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
